  • Design & Display: Most of the Xiaomi devices were look similar, but the Redmi 7 was a little different. The back panel of this smartphone was of a glossy finish which made of plastic. There are three color variants like Comet Blue, Lunar Red, and the Eclipse Black. The display panel of the Redmi 7 was 6.26-inch which is bigger than Redmi 6. The resolution of the display was 720×1520 with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The Redmi 7 is a little bit bigger and heavier too in comparison with the Redmi 6.

At the front, it comes up with the water drop notch at the top which is now common nowadays. You will also get the protection of the Gorilla Glass 5 at the front which protects your display from scratches. Other than this it has a 3.5mm headphone jack and even the infrared sensor at the top. But there is no USB-C port as you will get a standard Micro USB port.

  • Performance, battery, and features: The Redmi 7 is powered with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 which performs very well. You can play PUBG in medium settings. However, you may get some lag is the basic variant. The Redmi 7 comprises of the 4,000mAh battery which can go or last up to a whole day. This smartphone was running on the Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10.2. You will get all those essential features that were usually seen in all Redmi smartphones. These features like “Wallpaper Carousel” and many more.
  • Camera: The Redmi 7 comes up with the 12-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture at the back. And the secondary camera was of 2-megapixel which is used for depth sensing. It doesn’t have any wide angle lens or any zoom lens. There are many features available in the camera app like Timelapse, Google lens, Tilt-shift, beautification, etc. The pictures were of good quality, but the colors are not accurate. In the field of videos recording it can record videos at 1080p at 60fps.
  • Price: The Redmi 7 launched in the two variants 2GB RAM and 32GB and the other one was of 3 RAM and 32GB of storage. The basic version was priced at Rs. 7,999, and the 3GB variant was priced at Rs 8,999.
