Fitbit Charge 3 is a wearable device that tracks and measures the important functions that your body performs. It displays the results in an easy-to-read form. As management guru Peter Drucker famously said: “You can’t manage what you can’t measure”. To stay healthy, it is very important to know how the vital parts of your body are performing. Fitbit Charge 3 provides you information like your heart rate and calories burned in the entire day.
The algorithms written by experts give you an accurate estimation of how well your body is doing. By getting this vital feedback from Fitbit Charge 3, you can take the right steps to overcome your shortcomings. The previous version of this device had some minor issues but Fitbit has taken a big leap by making some major upgrades.
Fitbit is a San Fransisco based health and fitness company headed by James Park. They create products that help people live a healthy and empowered life. Most of their products are feedback based systems that monitor and track your bodily functions. Since the year 2007, Fitbit has been continuously creating and bettering health and fitness related products.
How it Fitbit Charge 3 better than other fitness wearables?
The first thing that makes this product stand out from the rest is its price. It’s quite affordable compared to its competitors. Price is a very important factor for a lot of people and Fitbit Charge 3 clearly wins in this area. Secondly, I don’t need to point out the fact that this product has the sleekest design compared to other bulkier fitness wearables. It’s basically a band that fits perfectly on the wrist.
What I like about Fitbit Charge 3
Fitbit Charge 3 is less bulky and ultra lightweight compared to the fitness bands from other companies. I can wear it the whole day without any issues. The two important factors Fitbit Charge 3 measures are footsteps and heart rate. And both can be read without having to change screens. In addition, I can also get my mobile phone notifications directly on this device. This is useful when I am out on a hike or while swimming in the pool.
What I don’t like about Fitbit Charge 3
For some reason, they have reduced the number of clock face options in Fitbit Charge 3. In the previous versions, there were 11 clock faces but in this one there are only 5. I feel like it’s good to have more options as you get to choose an optimal clock face based on the activity you are performing. Secondly, it does not show the date and clock face on the same screen. I hope they rectify these minor issues as it can annoy some users.
This product is great for outgoing people who love to indulge in adventure sports like hiking, trekking, running, cycling, etc. I know how frustrating it is to carry your phone along with you while you are running or going out for a walk. It obstructs your freedom of movement. Fitbit Charge 3 seamlessly integrates with your phone and you can all your app notifications in this device itself.
Fitbit Charge 3 comes in 4 sensuous colors: Graphite/Black, Graphite/White Silicone, Lavender and Rose Gold/Blue Grey. It’s starting price is $149.95.
